Lifting your 4th or 5th Gen 4Runner changes the rear suspension geometry. The panhard (track) bar angles downward, forcing the axle to swing side-to-side instead of cycling straight up and down. That’s why your truck can feel unstable after a lift. The DR KDSS Bolt-On Trackbar Correction Kit (B.O.T.C.K.) raises the axle-side pivot, bringing the panhard bar back closer to level. The result is a centered axle, improved stability, and predictable handling both on and off-road.

Key Features

  • Corrects panhard bar angle for a more stable rear axle after a lift
  • Wrap-around, double-shear bracket design distributes load evenly across the OEM mount
  • Multiple Grade 8 fasteners (torque spec: 125 ft-lbs) provide superior retention vs. single-bolt brackets
  • 100% bolt-on — no welding required, installs in about 15–20 minutes with hand tools
  • Vehicle-specific: 2003–2009 (4th Gen) & 2010–2024 (5th Gen) Toyota 4Runner

Most trackbar relocation options for the 4Runner are un secured and dangerous. This bolt-on kit offers a full wrap around design with an easy install, no fabrication, just simple hand tools. The bracket wraps fully around the factory mount, spreading load across the entire OEM bracket rather than relying on a single weld bead. That means less flex, less wear, and a stronger, serviceable setup you can remove or swap later if needed.

Why You’d Want It

Suspension geometry is everything on a lifted solid-axle Toyota. By leveling the panhard bar, the DR KDSS B.O.T.C.K. keeps the axle centered under the frame, improving ride quality and handling on pavement and trail. If you’ve invested in a rear lift, this is the upgrade that ensures it performs the way it should.

How to Choose the Right Bracket

  1. Measure from the ground to the center of the frame-side panhard bolt.
  2. Measure from the ground to the center of the axle-side panhard bolt.
  3. Subtract axle-side from frame-side to find the height difference.
  • 1.5”–2.99” difference → Shorty (or Standard in the lower hole)
  • 3.0”+ difference → Standard (use the top hole)

Pro tip: If you plan to lift higher later, choose the Standard so you can move to the upper hole without replacing the bracket.

Installation

Installation is straightforward — about 15–20 minutes with basic tools:

Recommended for rear lifts of 2”–3”+ (though you’ll notice improvement even at 1.5”). Some contact with the crossmember is possible at certain heights, but the wrap-around design ensures no damage to the OEM mount or bracket.
