What It Does

• Gives you manual control over your KDSS system.

• Lets you open and close the KDSS hydraulic valves electronically.

• Helps correct or reduce the common “KDSS lean” after a lift.

• Plug-and-play connection at the KDSS ECU — minimal wiring required.

• Works with a dash switch or your existing switch controller (Switch-Pro, etc.).

Why You Need It

• From the factory, KDSS automatically locks above 12 mph for on-road handling and unlocks below 12 mph for off-road flex.

• That’s great in theory — but in reality, it’s overly stiff at the wrong times and unpredictable after a lift.

• With this harness, you take control.

• Flip the switch to unlock the system and let the suspension move freely.

• Hit the switch again to lock it back up for tighter cornering.

• Use it to balance the system, cure KDSS lean, and dial in the feel of your suspension on your terms.

How It Works

• Uses genuine OEM Toyota connectors, pins, and color-matched wiring for perfect fit and reliability.
  Connects directly to the KDSS ECU — no cutting or splicing factory wires.

• 3D printed resin connector housing (since Toyota never made a true mating connector).

• Harness is QC-tested before shipping.

• Simple crimping required to connect to your chosen switch.

• Harness only — does not include switch or fuse box cover.

• Add the DRKDSS KDSS Harness Combo for a full plug-and-play setup.

• Use your own wire extensions, connectors, and mounting hardware if running custom switch locations.

• Does not remove KDSS malfunction codes if the system is already faulted.

• 2020+ vehicles will get a kdss malfunction error on the screen, all you need to do is hit ok and be on your way

Look at the wire next to the connector clip:

If the slot next to the clip is empty → Order 2010–2019 version (Picture A)
If a wire is in that slot → Order 2020+ version (Picture B)
